Eight hundred kilometres of coastline on two seas: no Italian region offers a beach wedding the possibilities Calabria does. White sand on the Tyrrhenian, cliffs on the Ionian, sunsets over the water on one side and sunrises on the other. And prices still far below Amalfi or Puglia.

As a photographer specialised in beach weddings, here are the three things that matter: the ceremony time (that last hour of light is everything), a plan B for the wind, and a photographer who knows your chosen beach inside out. We'll handle the first two together; the third is on me.

From the bays of Grotticelle at Capo Vaticano to Tropea's Rotonda, from the bay of Soverato to the red beaches of Capo Rizzuto: I have photographed ceremonies at the foot of cliffs, toasts with feet in the water and first dances lit by torches. Every beach has its own light, and knowing it in advance is the secret of a perfect reportage.
