Tenuta Klopè is one of my favourite venues in the Vibo Valentia area for late-summer weddings: tidy greenery, generous space and attentive management that lets reportage breathe. It sits close to Pizzo Calabro, so it combines well with portraits on the seafront or in the old town.
Here I photographed Raffaella and Luigi's wedding: a day built on an outdoor rite and a reception that slid from afternoon into night without a jolt. The sequence of spaces lets me follow the couple without ever interrupting them.
For couples travelling in, the position is convenient: we are in the triangle between Pizzo, Vibo Valentia and the motorway exit, with Tropea and Capo Vaticano reachable for a next-day session on the coast.
Request a quoteThe light. The estate's greenery asks for low light: the best moment is the hour before sunset. For an outdoor rite, avoid early afternoon in August.
