Grand Hotel Balestrieri in Torre Melissa is among the most appreciated reception venues in the province of Crotone, and my archive holds three very different weddings there: from Natale and Raffaella's, which crossed half of Calabria from Firmo to Botricello, to entirely Ionian stories.
Marrying here is a must for couples looking for a modern building with a classic idea of hospitality: a beautiful garden for the civil rite, an extraordinary beach and very well equipped halls for weddings at the height of summer.
For reportage the advantage is continuity: garden ceremony, aperitivo towards the sea, dinner indoors and portraits on the sand follow one another within a few metres, so no daylight is spent on transfers. With large guest lists I often work alongside Elisa Citraro, essential for covering distances and providing a second point of view.
